1-2-3 Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 c granulated sugar
- 1 c shortening
- 3 eggs
- 1 c buttermilk or sour milk
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 12 tsp vanilla
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 6 to 7 c flour or enough to make dough stiff enough for rolling out
Directions
- Roll out a small amount at a time and cut with cookie cutter Sprinkle with sugar and put a pecan half or raisin in center Bake at 350 for 10 minutes
