24-Hour Cole Slaw

Ingredients
- cabbage shredded
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1 c vinegar
- 34 c sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp celery seed
- 1 tsp prepared mustard
Directions
- Place the cabbage and onion in a large bowl set aside Combine the vinegar sugar salt celery seed and mustard and bring to a boil Set off heat and add 1 cup oil Bring to a second boil and pour over cabbage and onion Let set for 24 hours Stir before serving
