24-Hour Salad
Ingredients
- 1 small head or 12 large head lettuce
- 1 pkg frozen green peas
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 8 celery stalks chopped
- 1 red onion chopped
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 13 c grated Parmesan cheese
- 6 slices crumbled fried bacon
Directions
- Make 24 hours before serving
- Use large casserole or large glass pan
- Shred or tear lettuce into dish approximately 13 full
- Layer on top of the following do not stir green peas green pepper celery red onion
- Frost entire top with the following mixture
- mayonnaise sour cream and sugar
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
- Right before serving sprinkle with bacon
