5 Flavor Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter 1 c
- 14 c vegetable shortening
- 3 c sugar
- 5 eggs beaten
- 3 c plain flour
- 12 tsp baking powder
- 1 c milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp butter extract
- 1 tsp lemon extract
- 1 tsp coconut extract
- 1 tsp almond extract
Directions
- Cream butter shortening and sugar until light and fluffy Add eggs one at a time beating well after each one
- Combine flour and baking powder
- Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk
- Stir in flavorings
- Bake at 325 for 1 12 hours in a 10-inch tube pan
