5 Hour Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 1 12 lb beef stew meat cut in 1 12-inch cubes
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 c chopped celery
- 1 c chopped onion
- 4 large carrots sliced
- 4 potatoes cubed
- 3 Tbsp tapioca
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 12 c dry red wine
Directions
- Mix meat and vegetables in 5-quart casserole
- Sprinkle with tapioca and seasoning
- Add wine and 34 cup water
- Stir well Cover tightly and bake in 250 oven for 5 hours
