7-Up Lemon Pound Cake

Ingredients
- 1 12 c margarine 3 sticks
- 3 c sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 c flour
- 2 Tbsp lemon extract
- 34 c 7-Up
Directions
- Cream sugar and shortening together and beat until light and fluffy
- Add eggs one at a time and beat well
- Add flour alternately with lemon extract and 7-Up
- Pour batter into well-greased and floured tube or Bundt pan
- Bake at 325 for 1 to 1 14 hours
- When thoroughly cool sift powdered sugar over cake This cake freezes well and stays moist
- Serves 16
