7-Up Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 sticks butter
  • 3 c sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c Swans Down cake flour
  • 34 c 7-Up
  • 1 tsp lemon flavor
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Directions

  1. In large bowl cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy Add eggs one at a time and mix well after each egg
  2. Add flour 7-Up flavor and juice
  3. Mix until flour is blended in then blend until smooth about 3 minutes at high speed
  4. Pour batter into Bundt cake pan
  5. Bake in preheated oven at 350 for 1 hour 10 minutes Remove from oven
  6. Cool 10 minutes in pan and remove to cake plate
