8 Layer Salad
Ingredients
- 1 head shredded lettuce sprinkled with salt and pepper
- 1 lb bacon fried crisp and crumbled
- 6 hard-cooked eggs sliced
- 1 box uncooked frozen peas thawed
- 1 medium sweet onion sliced thin purple
- 1 c Hellmanns mayonnaise and 1 c Miracle Whip mixed together
- 12 c julienne ham
- 12 c Swiss cheese
Directions
- In a 9 x 13-inch pan layer as follows
- 12 head shredded lettuce bacon eggs peas onion mixed dressing ham and Swiss cheese
- Press down after each layer
- The dressings will spread thickly over entire surface and top with ham and cheese
- Cover with Glad Wrap and refrigerate at least 12 hours
