Ingredients

  • 1 12 lb lean beef 1 12-inch cubes
  • 2 tsp salt or adjust to taste
  • 12 tsp basil
  • 14 tsp pepper or adjust to taste
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 2 stalks celery sliced
  • 4 carrots sliced
  • 3 potatoes cubed with or without peel
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Combine tomato soup and 12 can water sprinkle with Worcestershire sauce set aside
  2. Place beef in 3-quart casserole sprinkle with salt pepper and basil Top with celery carrots and onions Pour soup mixture over meat and vegetables coating all pieces
  3. Cover tightly and bake at 300 for 3 hours Add potatoes and bake an additional 45 minutes
