Alice Lis Pierogies
Ingredients
- 2 c flour
- 2 eggs
- 12 c milk
- 12 onion
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp melted butter
- 6 medium potatoes
- dry cottage cheese
Directions
- Mix together flour eggs milk salt and butter
- Roll like pie dough and cut with 2-inch cookie cutter
- For filling cook and mash potatoes mix with onion fried in butter and drained and dry cottage cheese as you like
- Put filling on half of round fold pinch sides together with fork
- Drop into boiling water a few at a time
- They are done when they come to the surface about 3 minutes
- Remove from water
- Serve with sour cream or fry
- If you plan to freeze them dont cook
