AliceS Butter Cake

Ingredients

• 3 c sugar
• 2 sticks butter or oleo
• 12 c Crisco
• 1 small can milk
• 3 c flour
• 5 eggs
• 2 Tbsp butternut flavoring
• 2 c walnuts chopped
• 1 jar maraschino cherries

Directions

1. Cream sugar oleo and Crisco
2. Add eggs beat well
3. Add flour milk 34 cup milk and 14 cup water to make 1 cup and flavoring add nuts and cherries
4. Grease and flour tube pan Start in cold oven
5. Turn temperature to 300
6. Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes
