AlieneS Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 c sugar
• 1 box powdered sugar
• 1 lb butter
• 34 lb shortening
• 4 eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 2 tsp salt
• 2 tsp cream of tartar
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 8 12 c flour

Directions

1. Blend first 4 ingredients until light and creamy
2. Stir together
3. dry
4. ingredients
5. Gradually
6. add to creamed mixture and mix
7. well until blended
8. Form dough into balls
9. Flatten with glass dipped in sugar or drop by spoon and mash with fork dipped in water
10. This recipe may be cut down to one half
