Almond-Turkey Bake
Ingredients
- 1 c Kraft natural shredded sharp Cheddar cheese divided
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 3 c chopped cooked turkey
- 1 12 c sliced celery
- 23 c slivered almonds toasted and divided
- 1 c Kraft real mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 12 tsp dried oregano leaves crushed
- 14 tsp salt
- 14 tsp pepper
- pastry for 2 crust 9-inch pie
Directions
- Heat oven to 400
- Toss 34 cup cheese with flour
- Mix cheese mixture turkey celery 13 cup almonds mayonnaise juice and seasonings
- Roll pastry to 15-inch square on lightly floured surface
- Place in 12 x 8-inch baking dish trim 1-inch beyond edge
- Turn under edge flute
- Fill with turkey mixture
- Top with remaining cheese and almonds
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown
- Makes 6 to 8 servings
