Almond Granola Bars

Ingredients
- 12 c lightly salted butter or margarine
- 2 to 4 Tbsp light brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 3 c uncooked old-fashioned oats
- 12 c chopped almonds
Directions
- Heat oven to 350
- Grease 8-inch square baking pan
- Melt butter in large saucepan
- Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar and honey until combined
- Stir in oats and almonds
- When well mixed press into prepared pan using back of wooden spoon
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned
- Remove from oven and place on wire rack
- Press mixture down again and cut into bars
- When cool remove bars and store in airtight container at room temperature or wrap and freeze
