Almond Shortbread Bars

Ingredients
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c Land O Lakes sweet cream butter softened
- 1 egg separated
- 14 tsp almond extract
- 1 Tbsp water
- 12 c chopped almonds
Directions
- Heat oven to 350
- In a large mixer bowl combine flour sugar butter egg yolk and almond extract Beat at low speed scraping bowl often until particles are fine 2 to 3 minutes Press in bottom of greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan
