Almond Vegetable Mandarin

Ingredients

  • 1 c thinly sliced carrots
  • 1 c green beans cut about 1-inch
  • 2 Tbsp salad oil
  • 1 c thinly sliced cauliflower
  • 12 c sliced green onions
  • 1 c water
  • 2 tsp chicken stock base
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • pinch of garlic powder
  • 12 c unblanched whole almonds

Directions

  1. Cook carrots and beans in oil in skillet or electric skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes
  2. Add cauliflower and onion
  3. Cook 1 minute longer
  4. Add mix of water chicken stock base cornstarch and garlic powder
  5. Cook and stir until thickened
  6. Vegetables should be crisp-tender
  7. Add almonds and serve
