Alpine Goulash With Buttered Noodles
Ingredients
- 2 12 lb boneless round steak cut into 1 12-inch cubes
- 2 Tbsp beef drippings or shortening
- 3 c coarsely chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp paprika
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 1 tsp caraway seed
- 1 tsp dill seed
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 12 pt sour cream
- cooked noodles
Directions
- Brown meat well on all sides in hot drippings or shortening Turn cubes to brown equally
- Add balance of ingredients cover and cook slowly until beef cubes are tender about 2 12 hours
