Amaretto Slush

Ingredients

• 1 c sugar
• 4 12 c water
• 1 6 oz can frozen lemonade concentrate thawed and undiluted
• 1 c Amaretto
• lemon-lime carbonated beverage chilled
• maraschino cherries optional

Directions

1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan stirring well
2. Bring to a boil stirring until sugar dissolves
3. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes
4. Combine sugar mixture lemonade and Amaretto stir well and freeze mixture overnight
5. Break frozen mixture into chunks
6. Scoop into glasses filling 13 to 12 full
7. Add carbonated beverage stir until slushy
8. Top each serving with a cherry if desired
9. Yield
10. 7 12 cups
