American Meat Loaf
Ingredients
- 1 12 lb lean ground beef
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 12 c seasoned dry bread crumbs
- 14 c finely chopped onions
- 13 c milk
- 14 c Heinz 57 sauce
- 34 tsp salt
- 18 tsp pepper
Directions
- Thoroughly combine all ingredients and shape into a loaf pan 8 x 4 x 1 12-inches
- Bake in 350 oven for 1 hour
- Allow meat loaf to stand 5 minutes before slicing
- Makes 6 servings
