Ingredients

  • 5 c self-rising flour
  • 13 c sugar
  • 1 c shortening
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 2 pkg yeast dissolved in 14 c warm water
  • 2 c buttermilk

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients
  2. Cut in shortening
  3. Stir in yeast and buttermilk Roll and cut
  4. Bake at 450
  5. Will keep in refrigerator for 1 week
