Angel Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 pkg yeast
- 14 c warm water
- 5 c flour
- 13 c sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 c shortening
- 1 12 c buttermilk
Directions
- In a small bowl soften yeast in warm water set aside
- In a large mixing bowl stir together flour sugar baking powder salt and baking soda
- With a pastry cutter cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs mix well
- Add yeast mixture and buttermilk stir until combined
- On a floured surface knead mixture about 2 minutes or until smooth adding more flour as needed
- To make ahead the dough may be stored covered in refrigerator overnight
