Angel Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c finely crushed graham crackers 14
  • 1 c chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 12 c whipped cream

Directions

  1. Beat egg whites and vanilla to soft peaks gradually add sugar
  2. Beat until stiff peaks form
  3. Mix crumbs nuts and baking powder fold into beaten egg whites
  4. Spread evenly in greased and floured 9-inch pie plate
  5. Bake at 325 for 20 to 25 minutes Cool completely
  6. Whip the cream or use Cool Whip
  7. Cut pie Serve topped with cream
  8. Serves 6
