Anise Cookies
Ingredients
- 5 c flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 4 eggs
- 2 c white sugar
- 2 c oil
- 2 tsp anise oil or more
- candied cherries
Directions
- Sift first 3 ingredients into a bowl Cream eggs and sugar well Add oil and anise oil cream well
- Put dry ingredients into liquid mixture
- Mix well
- Refrigerate about 20 minutes
- Roll into small balls and flatten with a fork dipped in flour
- Put piece of candied cherry in center
- Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes Cool and store
