Apple-Cabbage Mold

Ingredients
- 1 3 oz pkg lemon gelatin
- 2 c hot water
- 12 c shredded cabbage
- 4 tsp vinegar
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 c diced unpeeled apple
- 14 c chopped walnuts
Directions
- Dissolve gelatin in water according to package directions Chill until slightly thickened
- Combine cabbage vinegar and salt let stand 20 minutes
- Fold cabbage apples and nuts into gelatin and turn into oiled mold
- Chill until set
- Unmold on crisp lettuce
