Apple-Orange Marmalade

Apple-Orange Marmalade

Ingredients

  • 8 oranges
  • 5 lb apples cored and chopped fine
  • 4 lb sugar

Directions

  1. Peel oranges remove white membrane boil rinds until tender in water to cover
  2. Let cool then grind and chop fine
  3. Divide peeled oranges in sections combine with apples add water to barely cover
  4. Cook over low heat one-half hour
  5. Add sugar and orange rind
  6. Boil until thick
  7. Pour into sterilized jelly glasses
  8. When cool seal with paraffin
  9. Makes 10 or more glasses
