Apple CakeFresh

Ingredients

• 2 c sugar
• 1 c cooking oil
• 3 eggs
• 1 tsp salt
• 3 c plain flour
• 1 tsp soda
• 3 c chopped apples
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 1 c chopped nuts
• 2 c coconut optional
• 1 c powdered sugar
• juice of 1 lemon
• 1 tsp butter

Directions

1. Mix the first 10 ingredients
2. as any other cake
3. Bake in tube pan at 300 for 1 hour and 15 minutes
4. Remove from oven and pour over it the powdered sugar lemon juice and butter boiled together
