Apple CakeFrom 1975 Edition

Ingredients

• 1 12 c chopped apples
• 1 c sugar
• 1 egg
• 12 c oil
• 1 12 c flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 12 tsp nutmeg
• 14 tsp allspice
• 12 tsp salt
• 12 c raisins
• 12 c chopped nuts

Directions

1. Put apples in bowl
2. Add sugar and mix
3. Let stand 10 minutes Add egg and oil
4. Sift and measure flour
5. Mix all ingredients and add to apple mixture
6. Add raisins and nuts
7. Bake in 9-inch square pan at 350 for 50 to 55 minutes
