Apple Cinnamon Baked French Toast
Ingredients
- 1 large loaf French bread
- 8 eggs
- 3 12 c milk
- 1 c sugar divided
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- 3 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 6 apples peeled and sliced
Directions
- Slice bread into 1-inch thick slices
- Spray a 9 x 13-inch pan with oil and arrange bread slices tightly together
- Mix eggs milk 12 cup sugar and vanilla
- Pour half of mixture over bread Arrange sliced apples on top and pour balance of egg mixture over top
- Take remaining 12 cup of sugar and mix it with the cinnamon and nutmeg
- Sprinkle over top
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving
- Serve with hot syrup
