Apple Cranberry Pie
Ingredients
- 2 c fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1 34 c sugar
- 13 c quick cooking tapioca
- 14 c water
- 2 tsp grated orange peel
- 3 c sliced sweet apples
Directions
- In saucepan combine the cranberries sugar tapioca water and orange peel
- Bring to boil stirring occasionally
- Remove from heat and stir in apples
- Cool
- Pour into unbaked pastry shell that has been coated with 14 cup flour and 14 cup sugar mixed together
- Top with uncooked pastry or lattice strips of pastry
- If using a full top crust cut a few slits in top crust Slice a few slices of margarine and place on top and sprinkle sugar over top
- Bake at 375 for about 50 minutes
