Apple Crumb Pie
Ingredients
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell
- 6 c sliced pared apples 5 to 7 apples
- 1 c sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 34 c flour
- 13 c butter or margarine
Directions
- Place
- apples in unbaked pie shell
- Combine 12 cup of the sugar
- with cinnamon
- Sprinkle over the apples
- Combine remaining
- 12
- cup sugar with flour
- Cut in butter or margarine until crumbly
- Sprinkle crumb mixture over apples
- Bake at
- 400 for
- 40 minutes or until apples are tender
- Cool or serve warm with whipped cream on top
