Apple Kuchen
Ingredients
- 12 c softened butter or margarine
- 1 c yellow cake mix
- 12 c flaked coconut optional
- 1 c 20 oz pie sliced apples drained
- 12 c sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 c dairy sour cream
- 2 egg yolks or 1 egg
Directions
- Heat oven to

- Cut butter into dry cake mix until crumbly
- Mix
- in coconutPat mixture lightly into ungreased oblong pan 13 x 9 x 3-inches building up slight edges
- Bake for 10 minutes
- Arrange apple slices on warm crust
