Apple Meat Loaf

Ingredients

• 1 12 lb ground beef
• 1 medium onion minced
• 12 c fine diced apples
• 14 tsp pepper
• 1 unpeeled apple cored and cut in eighths
• 1 c soft bread crumbs
• 2 eggs
• 1 12 tsp salt
• 1 tsp Worcestershire
• 2 Tbsp catsup
• 2 Tbsp brown sugar

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients except unpeeled apple catsup and brown sugar
2. Shape in loaf in baking pan
3. Insert wedges lengthwise on loaf
4. Drizzle catsup over top and sprinkle with brown sugar
5. Bake in oven at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes
6. Baste occasionally with drippings in pan
7. Serves 6
