Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 34 c sugar
  • 13 c flour
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 1 14 tsp baking powder
  • 12 c chopped nuts
  • 12 c chopped apples
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Beat the egg until foamy
  2. Add sugar and beat again
  3. Sift together the flour salt and baking powder and beat into the egg-sugar mixtureBlend in the apples nuts and vanillaBake in a pie pan at 350 until the top is crisp about 30 minutes
  4. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream
