Apple Nut Ring

Ingredients

  • 2 8 oz cans refrigerated buttermilk can biscuits
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 12 stick butter melted
  • 2 medium apples
  • 12 c chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Separate the biscuits into 20 pieces
  2. Combine sugar and cinnamon
  3. Dip biscuits into melted butter then roll in sugar mixture
  4. Arrange biscuits around the outer edge of a deep dish baker pan using a total of 15 pieces and overlap the other 5 pieces in the center
  5. Peel core and slice apples into thin pieces place in the biscuit crust
  6. Mix chopped pecans with the remaining sugar mixture and pour over all
  7. Bake at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes or until done
