Apple Roll
Ingredients
- 2 c chopped apples peeled and cored
- 1 12 c sugar less if desired
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- salt to taste
- 1 stick margarine
- biscuit dough the size of a baseball
Directions
- Roll out dough in oblong shape on floured board or table Spread apples evenly over dough
- Sprinkle with sugar salt and cinnamon
- Start at the edge and roll as a jelly roll
- Cut into 3 or 4 pieces and place into baking dish
- Dot with margarine Cover with boiling water
- Cook at 400 until brown about 30 minutes
- Other fruits such as peaches blackberries or strawberries may be used
