Apple Squares
Ingredients
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 12 c flour
- 1 c shortening
- 1 egg separated save white
- 23 c water
- 5 or 6 large apples sliced
- 1 c sugar
- cinnamon
Directions
- Mix salt with flour cut in shortening
- Separate egg save the white
- Add yolk to 23 cup water and beat
- Add to flour mixture
- Mix into soft ball stage
- Divide dough in half
