Apples And Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

• 2 c water
• 1 c sugar
• 3 Tbsp cornstarch
• 12 tsp cinnamon
• 12 tsp nutmeg
• 1 stick oleo
• 7 large sweet potatoes
• 3 large apples Winesap

Directions

1. Boil first six ingredients until thick
2. Boil sweet potatoes until tender
3. Layer sweet potatoes and apples apples need to be sliced thin
4. Put in 9 x 13-inch casserole
5. Cook for 30 minutes in moderate 350 oven
