Applesauce Beef Loaf

Ingredients

• 1 c soft bread crumbs about 1 12 slices
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 egg
• 14 c finely chopped celery
• 2 Tbsp finely chopped onion
• 1 tsp Dijon style mustard
• 12 tsp salt
• dash of pepper
• 12 c applesauce
• 1 Tbsp brown sugar
• 1 12 tsp vinegar

Directions

1. Blend thoroughly
2. Shape into a round loaf in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan
3. With a spoon make a crater like depression in top of loaf
4. Combine applesauce brown sugar vinegar and mustard pour into depression
5. Bake at 350 for 1 hour
6. Serves 4 or 5
