Applesauce Cake

Ingredients

• 12 c shortening
• 1 c sugar
• 1 12 c applesauce
• 1 c raisins
• 2 c sifted flour
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 2 tsp soda
• 12 tsp cloves
• 12 tsp salt
• 12 c nut pieces

Directions

1. Creamshortening
2. and
3. sugar
4. Heat
5. applesauce
6. Add raisins to sugar mixture
7. Cool
8. Sift dry ingredients together and gradually beat into sugar mixture
9. Add nuts pour into greased loaf pan
10. Bake
11. in 325 oven for 1 hour
12. Turn out on rack to cool
