Applesauce Cookies
Ingredients
- 34 c shortening
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 12 c applesauce
- 2 14 c sifted flour
- 12 tsp baking soda
- 12 tsp salt
- 34 tsp cinnamon
- 14 tsp cloves
- 1 c raisins
- 12 c chopped nuts
Directions
- Mix together shortening brown sugar and egg
- Stir in applesauce
- Sift flour baking soda salt and spices and mix well together
- Add nuts and raisins
- Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet
- Bake until golden brown in a 375 oven for about 10 to 15 minutes
