Applesauce Jello Salad

Ingredients

• 1 3 oz pkg strawberry or raspberry jello
• 1 c boiling water
• 1 c applesauce
• 1 6 oz pkg frozen strawberries or raspberries
• 1 c chopped nuts
• 1 c miniature marshmallows
• 1 c sour cream or Cool Whip

Directions

1. Add cup of boiling water to package of jello
2. Mix until dissolved
3. Add package of frozen berries stir until thawed
4. Add the applesauce and stir well
5. Pour into a 9 x 9-inch pan
6. Chill in refrigerator until set
7. For the topping fold in 1 cup of marshmallows into 1 cup of sour cream or Cool Whip and spread over the set jello
