Applesauce Raisin Dessert

Ingredients

• 3 c oatmeal
• 1 c brown sugar
• 1 c oleo
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 2 c flour
• 1 qt applesauce
• 1 c raisins
• 12 c water
• 12 c sugar
• 1 Tbsp cornstarch

Directions

1. Mix the first 5 ingredients pat half of the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan
2. Mix remaining ingredients
3. Bring to a boil then add 2 tablespoons butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla
4. Spread evenly on top of bottom layer and sprinkle remaining oatmeal mixture on top
5. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
