Apricot Bread
Ingredients
- 1 c snipped dried apricots
- 2 c warm water
- 1 c sugar
- 2 Tbsp butter softened
- 1 egg
- 34 c orange juice
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 14 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 34 c chopped nuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Grease a loaf pan
- Soak apricots in warm water for 30 minutes
- Cream butter sugar and eggs well Stir in orange juice
- Combine dry ingredients and add to egg mixture
- Drain apricots well
- Add with nuts to batter
- Bake approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour
