Apricot Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 c snipped dried apricots
  • 2 c warm water
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 Tbsp butter softened
  • 1 egg
  • 34 c orange juice
  • 2 c all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 14 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 34 c chopped nuts

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Grease a loaf pan
  3. Soak apricots in warm water for 30 minutes
  4. Cream butter sugar and eggs well Stir in orange juice
  5. Combine dry ingredients and add to egg mixture
  6. Drain apricots well
  7. Add with nuts to batter
  8. Bake approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour
