Apricot Bread
Ingredients
- 2 3 oz cream cheese softened
- 13 c sugar
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp orange extract
- 1 tsp grated orange rind
- 1 c dried apricots
- 1 c sugar
- 2 Tbsp soft butter
- 1 egg
- 14 c water
- 12 c orange juice
- 2 c flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 12 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 12 c chopped nuts
Directions
- Mix cream cheese 13 cup sugar 1 tablespoon flour and 1 egg with orange flavoring and rind and set aside
- Cover apricots in warm water and soak for 30 minutes
- Drain apricots and cut them in small pieces
- Cream sugar and butter
- Add egg
- Add water and juice
