Apricot Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 c flour
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 34 c chopped pecans
  • 34 c apricot preserves

Directions

  1. Cream the butter with sugar
  2. Mix in egg yolks then flour then nuts
  3. Use hands
  4. Grease an 8-inch square pan
  5. Put half of the dough in pan
  6. Top with 2 tablespoons of apricot preserves Put the rest of the dough on top of the apricot preserves
  7. Spread remaining preserves on top
  8. Bake at 325 for 1 hour
