Apricot Jello Dessert

Ingredients

  • 2 c water
  • 2 c sugar
  • 1 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 8 oz can crushed pineapple
  • 2 6 oz pkg apricot Jell-O
  • 2 8 oz cartons Cool Whip

Directions

  1. In saucepan bring water and sugar to a boil
  2. Stir in apricot Jell-O and remove from heat cool in refrigerator
  3. At room temperature add cream cheese mix well with mixer then add Cool Whip and mix with mixer
  4. Then add crushed pineapple
  5. Place in refrigerator for 3 hours or so
  6. You can add chopped pecans if you like
