Asparagus Lasagne Bianco

Ingredients

  • 5 lasagne noodles 2 inches wide
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 12 tsp thyme crushed
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1 13 c milk
  • 1 c shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 c julienne ham
  • 1 15 oz can Del Monte extra long asparagus spears drained

Directions

  1. Cook noodles as directed on package
  2. Drain and cut in half crosswise
  3. In saucepan cook garlic and thyme in butter
  4. Blend in flour
  5. Cook stirring constantly for 2 minutes
  6. Stir in milk cook until thickened
  7. Season sauce with salt and pepper In buttered 2-quart baking dish layer 13 of noodles sauce cheese ham and asparagus
  8. Repeat layers twice
  9. Cover and cook on high for 9 to 10 minutes
