Asparagus Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 pt half and half
  • 1 pack frozen asparagus
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • parsley and paprika

Directions

  1. Cut off top 1-inch of frozen asparagus and reserve
  2. Chop up remaining asparagus stalks and place in blender
  3. Add pint of half and half and blend on high for 1 minute
  4. Put in saucepan add tips of asparagus and bring to scald
  5. Do not boil
  6. Serve immediately with sprig of parsley and pinch of paprika
