Aunt AlmedaS Caramel Corn

Ingredients

  • 5 qt popped popcorn
  • 2 c brown sugar
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 c Karo syrup

Directions

  1. In a saucepan place sugar oleo salt and syrup bring to a boil
  2. Boil 5 minutes
  3. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda
  4. Pour over popcorn on a large baking sheet
  5. Stir well
  6. Bake at 250 for 1 hour
  7. Stir well every 15 minutes
