Aunt Blanch Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 12 to 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 Tbsp garlic
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce of your choice
  • 2 to 4 Tbsp sugar cooks preference
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 to 10 oz egg noodles
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 12 to 1 c sharp Cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Brown beef with onion and garlic then drain
  2. Add spaghetti sauce sugar salt and pepper to the beefSimmer on low heat and stir occasionallyCook noodles according to package directions drain well
  3. Put noodles in a bowl and stir in sour cream and cream cheese until well blendedPlace noodle mixture in a 2-quart casserole dish
  4. Then put meat sauce on the noodles
  5. Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes
