Aunt CaroleS Meringue Dessert

Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 12 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 3 oz pkg lemon pudding and pie filling
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 12 c water
  • 1 c sugar
  • 16 oz Cool Whip

Directions

  1. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan
  2. Beat egg whites until stiff
  3. Add cream of tartar
  4. Gradually add 1 cup sugar
  5. Spread meringue in pan
  6. Bake at 300 for 1 hour
